That WoW Trading Card website project sort of fizzled out. I still would like to get it running but I just don’t have the time or motivation right now. I’m going with an all paper / excel spreadsheet indexing system.

The Shield finally ended its seven season run, and I am a sad panda for it. The finale was amazing and sad and I absolutely loved it. Plus, they had a little reference to Rockford, IL in there that you had to sorta pay attention and know the area to catch. It was near the end. But yes, I am sad, but there is hope. I finally checked out the Fox series 24. I grinded through all six seasons and aside from a few hitches along the way, I loved every moment. It was just in time, too, because soon afterwards the TV movie “24: Redemption” aired, and a couple months later season 7 started. The premiere pretty much had me floored the entire time… and now I wait one week at a time for a new episode. I hate the wait! Why do I do this to myself?
I got new compruder parts recently and they are just lovely. A 500gb SATA hard drive to be thrown into the mix, a Razer Lachesis mouse (with red LED lights), a Belkin n52te speedpad, and a CreativeLabs SoundBlaster X-Fi 5.1 USB sound card. I can finally use my 5.1 speaker system on my laptop. Epic win.
I finally read a bunch of awesome books that I’ve been meaning to for so long… All it took was getting a job with a lunch hour. All of them are graphic novels / comic books / trade paperbacks / whatever, so what? Watchmen is absolutely fantastic and I impolre everyone with a brain and eyes to read it. Batman: Year One and Batman: The Long Halloween are awesome, and made me realize that Batman is a character that I love but will only really read the full stories rather than a month to month basis. The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen is so cool. I really dig the whole 1800s setting, and the artwork was so weird and awesome at the same time. Right now I’m working on finally reading my copy of V for Vendetta that I bought a few years back, and then I wanna get some more Alan Moore stuff. The comic shop ordered a copy of The Killing Joke hardcover for me so that will be next. I’ve also been working on reading the first Halo novel, “The Fall of Reach.” Also awesome… but no pictures… OH NOES!!
The guild that Eric and I started in World of Warcraft, <IN A GUILD TO GET CHICKS>, has finally started to kick off a little. Some of our friends quit their old guilds to join us and we have done a bit of dungeon running to gear up and eventually do regular raids. We need a lot more people first, though… I am slowly getting my epic gear collected. I changed my Rogue’s spec for the first time a few nights ago. Combat served quite nicely for the 1-80 grind but now that I’m raiding I’ve been told that Assassination with Mutilate works much better for the DPS. I like it well enough so far. I did finally get the black war bear mount the other night, and… I ran Naxx25 last night and got Tier-7 raid shoulders! OMG!! p.s. we need a vent.

I want a new phone.
I want to clean my room.
I want to lose weight.
I want to actually finish a website project for once.
I want to go to school. For Psychology. And web development, probably.
I want to have a mohawk again.
I want to actually figure out how to play the Warcraft trading card game so I can play it with my friends. That and some Dungeons & Dragons or something. It all seems like it would be really fun.
But mostly I want to go to Colorado and California and Minnesota and visit my friends. A lot. And also maybe move out of this area. But I dunno. I just wanna get away.
